New Romance Audiobook Recording

And that’s a wrap!

Last month I had the pleasure of recording a brand new romance title from Harper Collins at the RNIB studios in London.

After some pretty hefty sessions that required dropping in and out of lots of dialogue with multiple characters, voices and accents, the text is finally recorded.

When you're tackling fiction as a voiceover artist it requires a lot of stamina, great sight-reading skills and preparation is really key to ensure the sessions run smoothly.

There's also a lot to be said for being vocally fit, hydrated and well rested between sessions to ensure you can always give your best performance and keep your mind sharp in long sessions.

When you finally get into the booth to record and get into that session flow it’s such an exhilarating feeling. And of course, being chosen to bring characters to life in the booth is a dream come true especially if you're an avid reader like me.

I thoroughly enjoyed recording this book and I hope it's the first of many new projects. Thanks for having me RNIB!
