Christmas Magic
This Christmas, Wind Song Theatre and Southend Theatres are back to co-producer another original festive theatre show for families at the Palace Theatre, Southend. Packed with toe-tapping tunes, this performance will dazzle audiences and take them on a magical adventure.

As well as running a voiceover business I also work onstage as an actor and a theatre maker. I co-founded Wind Song Theatre in 2018 after meeting my now business partner, Lily Streames, on tour. We started creating original shows for family audiences and this year we are delighted to have been re-commissioned to bring a brand new show to Southend Theatres.

The Nutcracker is a well loved Christmas classic but we have put a new spin on the story to modernise it and make it fun and relatable for young audiences. The music, written by our resident composer Ashton Moore, is full of incredibly catchy songs that have already been running on repeat in my head. I imagine by the time we start rehearsals they'll be on a perpetuating loop in and out of the rehearsal room.
Writing imaginative stories for the stage is something I am incredibly passionate about and I feel lucky to have a great friend and business partner to share that journey with. The Nutcracker: Magic and Mischief is a show with a big heart, loveable characters and cheese jokes in abundance... what's not to love? There's truly something for everyone in this Christmas spectacle.
I'm delighted to be treading the boards this year at the stunningly beautiful Palace Theatre. As well as playing the well known Sugar Plum Fairy role I will be multi-roling three other characters and really flexing my vocal and physical agility as an actor and vocalist. I can't wait to start rehearsals and see how our team and all the incredible gifted actors bring this story to life on stage.
Roll on Christmas!
