The Snow Queen

It is with great pleasure that I can announce that I will be taking on the role of Director of the original stage production of The Snow Queen this Christmas at the Palace Theatre, Westcliff-on-Sea.

As well as directing the show for the stage, I am delighted to be one of the co-producers. My theatre company, Wind Song Theatre, have announced our new partnership with Trafalgar Entertainment and The Snow Queen will be the first work we have produced in collaboration with one another.

I set up Wind Song Theatre with my business partner and friend, Lily Streames, back in 2018 and we couldn't have imagined a better way to return to writing and directing for stage than this original production. The show is a new family musical adventure which will run from December 13th to December 28th 2025.

Wind Song Theatre creates engaging performances using original music and innovative design, whilst the Palace Theatre has been entertaining audiences since 1912.

Nick Parr, theatre director at the Palace Theatre and the Cliffs Pavilion commented: "We have been looking for the perfect partner for Christmas at the Palace for a couple of years and were delighted to find Rebecca Ward and Lily Streames of Wind Song Theatre on our doorstep. The plans for The Snow Queen are already well-advanced and our audiences are in for an exciting festive adventure this year."

The casting process is now complete and the script and score are in a really exciting phase. I am so excited to share our show with audiences at Christmas, and the opportunity to partner with Trafalgar Entertainment truly is a dream come true.

Here's to a magical Christmas at The Palace Theatre. We really hope to see as many of you there as possible!
